Services

weltman lightingWe perform digital take-offs and review architectural details and electrical drawings in order to formulate a bill of material. We review specifications and drawings, identify drawing conflicts and application issues and develop information requests (RFI’s) in order to clarify the scope. We then research appropriate products, review manufacturer pricing, to ensure all necessary lighting components are accounted for per the drawings and design intent. We also review lighting control riser diagrams and panel schedules. Finally, we provide a comprehensive price proposal.

We identify our client's defined budget and define the key criteria and objectives

Our team performs a functional analysis for each project and focuses on the important design elements by obtaining input from the design team. Weltmann Lighting offers cost-effective alternative solutions, providing samples and catalog items for review, and we create a detailed alternate price proposal.

We submit a comprehensive submittal of all lighting products for client approval, together with a manufacturer lead-time schedule. Custom shop drawings are provided for all applicable products, reviewing and replacing returned submissions as needed. We gracefully manage changes which result from new specifications and field issues, and we double-check quantities and scope with the installing contractor. Purchase orders are generated to all manufacturers and we create a customized project status report for tracking and scheduling. We also coordinate freight arrival times with field personnel, supervising and inventorying all deliveries to the job-site.

We provide close-out documentation, including lamp lists for maintenance as well as warranty information for each manufacturer. We set up and manage commissioning and training of all lighting control systems, review and finalize punch list items, and provide a final financial summary.
